Purpose:

It provides the user with the ability to search for cruises that best fit there needs.

No the home page does not validate. https://www.hollandamerica.com/en_US.html

Find any other page on the site. Does the second page validate?

No the second page I went to from the home page did not validate either. The site listed under the Website URL above. Does not validate. It came up with 7 errors and 2 warnings.

Document how many validation errors and/or warnings may exist on each of the two pages you validate.

For the home page It comes up 26 errors and . For the second page It came up with 18 errors and 5 warnings. The second page I validated was the home page which did not pass validation. It had 23 errors and 7 warnings.

How would you rate the site's design, on a scale of 1(horrible) to 10 (fantastic)? Why?

I would rate the webssite a 6 out of 10 for design. Since the website has allot of styling done to it. Perhaps to much that it makes the user not really sure what they want to click or where at first. However they keep key navigation areas in easy spots to find on the website. So a user can still navigate it will just take a bit longer.

How would you rate the site's usability on a scale of 1(horrible) to 10 (fantastic)? Why?

Yes, it does meet it's purpose. While it may not rank high for usability or design. It still does provide the information I would need to book a cruise that suits my needs.
